Tea Cult' Suit

TOSEI GUSOKU Here's a "modern armour" of the late 1700's made for an older man. The russet and blue here is considered "quietly refined" and the entire suit follows that image. Notice that the shoulder guards are long and wide, harking back to the earlier o-yoroi. Ditto for the Haruta looking helmet, and the turned down (old man's) mouth in the face guard. It's a classic looking piece that's lighter in weight than a true battle suit, and may have been worn by an older samurai on his yearly pilgrimage to Edo to pay homage to the Shogun. All parts are perfectly matching and it is in excellent condition. (maedate added later).
